In This post we are reviewing Google Translate App. This is best translator App available in App Store and Play Store. This app is one of best language translator app available today.
First Thoughts about this Translator App:
So straight off the bat I was definitely intrigued by the elegant and slick logo of this app. Upon downloading this app, I came face to face with the screen where all the translations take place. At the top of the screen you can switch what languages you would like to translate into. It is a very simple screen where everything is very self-explanatory. Another great aspect of this app is the colour scheme (blue and white) which is very easy on the eyes and is not flashy at all. After translating a phrase or word, the translation remains at the bottom of the screen as your “history” which is very helpful if you need to use the same translation more than once. Overall my first impressions of the App were very positive and there is no aspect which is not perfect!
Diving Deeper:
Upon inspecting the app further I found out that there are four ways you can translate words, by typing the words, by drawing the words, by taking a photo of the words or by speaking the words. The feature that allows you to take a photo of the text and it will translate the text in real time is amazing and is surprisingly very accurate. It Is definitely a great asset to have If you are visiting a foreign country and you do not understand their street signs or a restaurant menu. The next “section” of the app is a very useful one.
After translating a word or phrase you can favourite it and the translation will show up in your favourites section. It is perfect for your most important translations that you will be using a lot. The last section of the app the “settings” is very important. In this section you have many options, the most useful of which are probably the help option, where you can send the developers your questions about the app and the feedback option. While exploring this section I noticed that it is possible to download curtain languages to be able to translate words offline. After learning about this feature, I was amazed at how forward thinking the developers at google really are. Also found in the settings section is the clear history option where you can clear all the history of your translations.

This app have option to translate voice over to any language. By using its advanced feature we can use this app as a voice translator app. If you have a conversation with any one in a different language and you have the voice recording? and you don’t know that persons language or some time you may need addition clarification for the voice. Then you can use this app to translate voice.
Overall Recap of Google Translator App:
Overall this app Is one of the simplest and most useful apps on the market right now. The developers at google really did perfect this app. One of the best things of the app is that there are no ADS. Now I know that no google apps have ads but it is always a plus in my books. The translation aspect of this app is very smooth and accurate and even though large chunks of words may not be the exact translation it is very useful for one-word translation or for phrases.
Besides its great colour scheme simplistic design and elegant feel the best thing about the app is how anyone can pick up this app and understand the purpose of this app in under 1 minute.
